Swallow Cottage at Dove Farm

House notes
Swallow Cottage is ideal for short breaks or family holidays on a working farm. Being the middle one of 3 cottages, with a generous sized living room - Swallow Cottage is where groups of families, hen groups and groups of friends, will gather together for pre-dinner drinks, before heading across to Dove studio dining room. It’s often where everyone gathers later in the evening too, so it’s helpful for large groups not to place guests here, who prefer an early night! Well equipped holiday cottage, with quality audio-visual equipment, and wifi. Sky TV. Selection of books, DVDs and boardgames. Bathroom has bath and separate shower cubicle. There is one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. Small, modern kitchen. Hired together with the other properties at Dove Farm, this group of three cottages offers all the advantages of large holiday houses and party houses, with the added bonus of your own private space. Back door opens out from living room out onto shared patio garden. This cottage is also perfect for a quiet few days away for couples, or for families visiting Alton Towers. Pets welcome by arrangement only.
Information in Swallow Cottage on local attractions, walks in the Peak District and Derbyshire. All you need to enjoy Staffordshire and make the most of Derbyshire, during your stay. Midweek deals often available. Information on our farm and nature trail.

Notes for the less able
This cottage is all ground floor. The living area and bedrooms are all accessible by wheelchair, with internal door widths set to external specifications of 33 inches. The kitchen does not have adaptations for use by disabled guests, and the bathroom is not disabled friendly. It works well when hired together with the other two cottages, which do have bedroom and bathroom facilities with disabled access.
The patio garden, to rear of cottages, is level and hard surfaced, enabling easy access, indoors and outdoors, for guests with limited mobility. There are no steps in and out of doorways to cottages. The car park and immediate public access area around cottages, are level, though not all has been surfaced.
