As well as being on a working farm, Wren Cottage is near Alton Towers, and sleeps 5 in two bedrooms. There is a double bedroom and a second bedroom , which has a single bed plus full size bunk beds. Sofabed in living room is also an option for larger groups, hiring all 3 cottages. Wren Cottage is ideal for family holidays on a working farm. Generally suitable for disabled guests. Well equipped, with quality audio-visual equipment, and wifi. Freeview TV. Selection of books and DVDs. Children’s books and cuddly toys. Large kitchen with dining table. The kitchen in Wren Cottage  is often used as main cooking area, by large groups staying at Dove Farm, as it is the nearest cottage to the dove studio dining room. Literally, out of one door and into another. This kitchen is also the one that will be used by outside caterers, if you choose to order in a dinner party. Catering available.  When hired together , this group of three cottages offers all the advantages of large holiday houses and party houses, with the added bonus of quiet space in your own holiday cottage. Pets by arrangement only.

Notes for the less able

Wren Cottage is not currently graded under the national accessibility scheme, however certain features help to make it disabled friendly. This cottage is all ground floor. Internal door widths set to external specifications of 33 inches. The kitchen does not have adaptations for use by disabled guests. The bathroom has level access, wet-room shower area. There are half-height shower doors, with an opening of 72 cm. The toilet has grab rails either side, with narrow transfer area to right of WC, if one grab rail is raised. (user’s perspective.)

The patio garden, to rear of cottages, is level and hard surfaced, enabling easy access, indoors and outdoors, for guests with limited mobility. There are no steps in and out of doorways to cottages. The car park and immediate public access area around cottages, are level, though not all has been surfaced.
