Holiday Cottages at Dove Farm

Dove Farm cottages, is a small cluster of properties on a working farm. There are three adjoining holiday cottages, plus Dove studio, grouped around a shared, patio garden.

• Wren Cottage has two bedrooms and sleeps 5         (read more)

Short breaks for groups

The three cottages are generally hired out together, providing accommodation for around 18 guests. There are 16 bedspaces as standard, with the addition of a sofabed in the living room of Wren cottage and one or two fold-up beds.

This is not to increase overall capacity beyond 18 + cots. The extra beds offer flexibility in sleeping arrangements. For example, the larger double bedrooms can be made into twin rooms, or family rooms, by adding in a fold-up bed. This is useful for ladies groups, hen groups and parents with children.   

Weekend breaks

Weekend breaks are the most popular hire period.
Dove Farm cottages may be hired out for 2 nights: Fri/Sat, or for 3 nights: Fri – Mon. Weekend breaks are offered all year round.  The added advantage for those guests able to stay Mon-Fri, is the offer of 4 nights for the price of 3.

Big party house with private space

Dove Farm cottages offer all the benefits of staying in a big party house, or large cottage, with the added bonus of guests being able to enjoy their own privacy, in their own   space. This is particularly useful when catering for the needs of family members both young and old, and for different interest groups. The separate cottages also provide useful break-out rooms, for corporate groups and training workshops using Dove studio as their main working area.

Well-equipped cottages

The cottages are well-equipped, with wifi throughout. There is a selection of books, DVDs and tourist information, in each of the cottages.  There is a cot and high chair, and  toys for younger children. There is reasonable disabled access overall, with good accessibility in certain parts. There is garden seating in the patio garden, and a BBQ is available for guests to use.

Doggie guests, up to 2 per visiting  groups, are generally welcome, after prior arrangement with owners. There is a small charge for dogs staying at Dove Farm.
