We help many groups of friends and families to host their special events at Dove Farm, which can be anything from that significant birthday, to wedding anniversaries, reunions and hen parties too!
We appreciate how difficult it is, to get everyone in your party together, in one place at one time, and we know how stressful it can be, simply to get everyone here!
So that’s why we believe every short break stay with us, is a special occasion. We can help you celebrate in style, if that’s what you’re after, or take the heat out of the kitchen, so you can chill and simply be....
Let’s start with dinner.
If you want to cook for yourselves, (or nominate a chef!) – you will find all the equipment and kitchen space you need to create your culinary masterpiece. ( if you need that missing ingredient or gadget, then just run across to the farmhouse and ask us – we will help you if we can!)
If you like the idea of a dinner party, freshly prepared, and served to you in Dove studio, by discreet and professional staff – then cleared away, and dishes washed afterwards (can you imagine how luxurious that will feel?)

….look no further
Order a dinner party from Top Nosh Caterers, a quality local business, based in Ashbourne. Alison and Val will be happy to discuss your individual requirements with you. They provide dinner parties here for our guests, on a regular basis, so you can be confident that they will arrive on time, and be well organised, as cooking at the cottages is like home from home now to these ladies. Prices start around £20 per person.

If you want to decorate the dinner table, or the room, don’t worry
if you forget to bring all the bits and pieces. We keep a supply of tablecloths,
napkins, balloons, candles, table decorations etc, which can either be borrowed
or purchased from us (depending on the products.) Just ask when you get here.

Gifts
It’s only natural that, if it is your event, you will want something tangible, to help you remember the occasion. Likewise, if you are arranging an event for someone else, you will want to give that special person a special gift, to treasure the day.
There are so many gift ideas out there, from traditional presents to experience days – and there are endless websites dedicated to selling these ideas to you. Many of them can make you feel more confused than before you started browsing!
Here are a few sites that we like, ones that offer something a little different, or perhaps a quirky idea, but in a way that is clear and simple. They might help you on your way to finding ‘just the right thing.’
