How many years have we been coming to Dove farm?                                This will be our 12th visit!!
We just love that we can set out all our things in the studio room, and simply enjoy our creative space for the weekend - wandering in and out as we please – with plenty of catching up and stitching.  See you again next year xx

We absolutely loved dove farm... it is rare to find somewhere that caters for every need (and whim) but you have managed to address all possible requirements and provide the perfect combination of homeliness, practicality and luxury.  

With all three cottages and dining room positioned around a beautiful courtyard, no one is very far from each other, and yet everyone can enjoy the privacy of their own space when needed. the houses are all very well equipped with good quality bedding, cooking equipment and utensils as well as basic cooking supplies. The large fridge freezer and range cooker in Wren cottage were greatly appreciated too. Everywhere was immaculate when we arrived and we were made to feel very welcome. Having the opportunity to meet the animals was a bonus for the youngest member of our group, as were the many toys and children's books. Having found this special place, we have every intention of returning for our annual family gathering.

We have just returned from a weekend at Dove Farm for my sisters hen do. The cottages are amazing and were the perfect setting for our group. Each cottage had everything that you needed and the studio space was excellent for dinners. We were also lucky with the weather and got to use the courtyard. Many thanks to Jane who welcomed us on arrival. Will be back to visit again in the future.

13 of us stayed as a family group over the May bank holiday weekend. The accommodation was perfect for a mixed group, with enough communal and private space for everyone! I’ve never been to a holiday home so well stocked with kitchen equipment! Lovely setting on the farm and we were lucky with gorgeous weather as well. Would definitely stay again! Thanks to Jane who was so helpful throughout.

Accommodation was great, it had a lovely homely feel with lots of extra little touches here and there.Everything was well equipped and good quality, the owners are very helpful and friendly.

Had such an amazing weekend. Got so close to the animals, fed a lamb with a bottle of milk and held a duckling. Saw donkeys, goats and alpacas. They are family pets and so tame. I spend lots of time walking in the countryside but never usually get chance to be so close to animals that I can touch them.

We recently used Dove Farm as a venue for a training programme, and we could not be more impressed. We found Jane Stretton, the owner, to be extremely helpful, attentive and supportive of all our requests - she couldn't do enough to help us from booking through to leaving. Despite the bookings changing several times Jane was very flexible and accommodating.

Two of our trainers stayed in one of the cottages whilst running our programme and we found them to provide a lovely relaxing space for the evenings with very comfortable beds! The cottage was clean, well equipped and met all our needs. The shower was particularly great!

The studio was brilliant as a venue for our training programme for GPs. The room is airy, well-ventilated, full of natural light and spacious. The outside courtyard/garden area, with chairs and tables, lent itself to a wonderful breakout area for the programme. When the weather was a little wet the cottages also provided a cosy space for warm and dry breakout areas. Dove Farm provides all equipment necessary if you require it too; projector and screen along with flip chart.

The cottage kitchen was similarly very well equipped, allowing us to cater for the entire group of attendees at lunchtime on each day of the programme without needing to bring any of our own equipment, dishes or utensils.

We were particularly impressed by the homemade cakes and delicious flapjack Jane baked for us and all our participants! An added bonus.

Overall, an excellent venue for running events with a relaxing and wonderful informal feel.
We have already booked to run our next programme at Dove Farm.

Dove Farm was the perfect place to celebrate my grandparents diamond wedding anniversary this weekend. We hired all the cottages as there was a big group of us and we couldn't have asked for anything more. It's lovely to be so close to the animals, they were all so friendly and we didn't want to leave! Staying at the farm was so comfortable and a real home from home with everything we needed… For all 4 generations!
